pmb farewell

cut my hair!

okay pmb farewell yesterday. awesome i must say. commendable effort by the future leaders of sn. (: haha entertaining item, fabulous food. at the end of it all i realised how much i feel for the prefectorial&monitorial board. being part of it made a difference to my life. it had been an eventful ride, right from the start, at the end of sec2. jp item for teachers' day, jp camp, many many interviews, mentors, our first duty during assembly and recess, getting our tie and badge, investiture, meetings and more meetings.fastforward, campaign, 2nd and final investiture, students forum, camp! gosh. ms low was right to say that we'd sorta left a legacy behind. haha with the implementation of mp3 rule, the staggered recess, the sch socks all happened in our presence. confession: i deserve to be chided for sometimes taking all these for granted. then it was yesterday, looking at everyone seated at the long tables in mpr that i discovered how much i'm going to miss them. like going for duty at morning assembly had become part and parcel of life but times such as dancing family dance on mondays made the experience much enjoyable. i guess what's special is that while we carry out duties and maintain discipline, we can have so much fun together. (:

haha the short skit by the sec3s at farewell proved so. it was heartwarming to see that among ourselves we could all let out hair down without the need to feel self-conscious. mmm and the notes i received were really sweet too. :D i remembered how i looked up to the seniors before, how they were significant ppl that i respected. i was indeed touched that i could make even the slightest impact in some of the juniors' lives. (:

pmexco'05/lameis; we rocked. haha i'll thoroughly cherish all the friendships forged while working together in pmb. my sec4 board prefects, fellow student leaders and juniors. there's this affinity shared as i see the juniors step up to take over our roles. all the best. (:

oh DRAMA. ld-ians cum pmb members strike our favourite pose.

the actresses: prim and proper :D
